Hi dear people,
I have some news: In last few days, I began to follow an online course to be able to get some new skills and maybe to be able to use them in the future to work in another area. In this one month, I should spend as much as time to learn this stuff. Then, probably I will decide whether I will continue or not. If I continue, I’ll tell you what it is. It’s not about crafting, so you don’t need to be too excited:)
Because I need lots of time to study, I may stop doing handmade things and because of that, I -probably- won’t be writing the Colors of the Week posts for one month. I will be investing in myself. That’s also a kind of recycling, right? 🙂 But here I have one last little project to share:
Basket made from old T-shirts
Do you remember the previous post which I told you how I made T-shirt yarns? I made a basket by using 2 of these balls (blue and pink ones).
First I made a square by using the pink one (1 single crochet, 1 chain, 1 sc, 1ch, 1sc…). Then I took the blue yarn and began doing single crochet on this square. I did them 1 cm inside from the edges. You can see it on this photo:
Then I continued to crochet 1sc, 1ch, 1sc, 1ch… This time it transformed to a round shape of course. It didn’t stay as square.
I had some more pink yarn left so I made some kind of belt as decoration. And here it is:
So I added a new friend to my basket group:)
That’s it for now. Hope to meet you again no later than a month!
Until then, good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night,
And stay colorful:)
